As July comes closer and closer to an end, I find myself getting more and more into school mode. Really, I should have been in school mode long ago, but being the procrastinator that I am, here we are. I am currently working on goal setting for the next school year and planning possible hands on projects and activities to work on. I am determined to have a productive and fun school year!!
With all that being said, my dear Austin requested a special project that perked my interest. He asked me if we could make a paper mache race car. He wanted to start on it right away, but the more we discussed it, the more I thought of it as being an awesome school project. We could study a certain subject and the project would be our big finale. But what would the subject be??
I spoke with my mom about it today and she had the BEST idea! She suggested studying Henry Ford and the history of automobiles. Our boys are very much into cars so this idea is AWESOME!!
Thanks mom for the wonderful idea! I'm looking forward to this upcoming school year and am so excited to see all the Lord has planned for our boys!!
